Brett Carlile is Of Counsel for Stoll Keenon Ogden, joining the firm in 2023 and working out of the Evansville office. Brett is highly skilled in trust and estate litigation, Medicaid planning, asset protection, and family business continuation planning.
Prior to joining SKO, Brett worked for an Indianapolis estate planning firm, where he gained extensive experience helping his clients avoid probate and death taxes while also working to advise them on wealth planning and investment strategies. Additionally, Brett worked in private practice for 20 years, using an intelligent, creative, and eloquent approach to achieve excellent results for his clients.
Trust and Estate Litigation: Brett and our team of attorneys represent clients and fiduciaries with a variety of services, including the management of estates and trusts, will and trust contests, reformation lawsuits, challenges to and defenses of inter vivos gifts, the management and operation of trust properties, charitable and exempt organization litigation, and issues related to testamentary capacity, fraud, and undue influence.
