Kathryn is a Member of Stoll Keenon Ogden’s Louisville office and has been with the firm since 2016. She focuses her legal practice on Business Services and Litigation, as well as Trusts and Estates and Trust and Estate Litigation. Kathryn serves on the firm’s Personnel and Technology Committees.
An experienced attorney in Indiana and Kentucky, Kathryn uses a holistic approach to counsel both individual and corporate clients in legal matters. She serves as a first point of contact when clients need legal advice over the course of their regular business. Kathryn understands her clients’ businesses and carefully considers their objectives when giving advice. When litigation is required, Kathryn possesses the knowledge to defend her clients and resolve matters as efficiently as possible.
For Trust and Estate matters, Kathryn is well-versed in estate planning strategies, estate administration, and litigation. Her experience includes defending fiduciaries in matters against beneficiaries and litigating disputes over probate and non-probate assets. She takes the time to build a relationship with each of her clients to best serve their unique needs.
Business Services: Kathryn assists clients with a broad range of business needs, including all types of contract review, drafting, and negotiation, as well as developing best practices with internal processes and procedures.
Business Litigation: Kathryn is experienced in representing companies from a variety of industries on a wide range of commercial litigation claims. She thoroughly analyzes each matter before crafting a strategy that meets her clients’ objectives—whether it is engaging in pre-litigation settlement discussions, participating in mediation, or preparing a case for trial. She has litigated in state and federal courts in Kentucky and Indiana and has extensive experience managing cases with high volumes of electronic discovery.
Business Torts: Kathryn helps clients navigate many types of tort issues, such as actions involving breach of fiduciary duty. She provides a vigorous defense in the courtroom and carefully tailors her approach and legal strategy to fit each client’s needs.
Trust & Estates: Businesses and families are in good hands with Kathryn guiding them throughout each phase of planning and administration. She counsels clients with assets of all sizes and represents executors and beneficiaries during the estate administration process.
Trust & Estate Litigation: Kathryn advises clients on will contests, reformation suits, and a variety of other actions associated with family and trust assets.
