Michele Bryant is Of Counsel for Stoll Keenon Ogden, joining the firm in 2023 and working out of the Evansville office. She is a registered mediator working within the Arbitration and Mediation practice group, specializing in finding solutions to disputes and misunderstandings without the expense and delay of trial. Highly skilled at handling medical malpractice cases, Michele has also provided healthcare counsel for more than 30 years.
Prior to joining SKO, Michele’s legal career included extensive work in the defense of healthcare providers and hospitals in medical negligence claims, healthcare law, and claims in the areas of casualty, premises liability, and construction accidents. For many years, she has worked in an advisory role with hospital and medical practice management, advising them on employment and regulatory issues and ways to mitigate the risk of litigation.
After winning multiple awards for her decades of work in medical malpractice defense, Michele is refocusing her practice to concentrate on the areas of mediation, arbitration, and service as Medical Review Panel Chair in cases pending with the Indiana Department of Insurance. As a mediator, she is able to use her range of experience and expertise to assist parties in the resolution of disputes involving all areas of civil litigation, particularly medical negligence claims, contract issues, automobile accidents, and employment and product liability claims. As Panel Chair, Michele has the knowledge and experience to steer the parties through the Medical Review Panel process as efficiently as possible.
Arbitration & Mediation: Michele acts as a mediator in a variety of cases ranging from personal injury to professional negligence and complex business disputes. She approaches disputes with the objective of assisting the parties in securing a solution to their disputes that is acceptable to all sides, thus avoiding further expense and delay associated with litigation and avoiding the risks and uncertainty associated with trial.
