Sebastian Spears joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2024 as Counsel to the Firm after serving as an in-house counsel for a local real estate developer. He represents both lenders and borrowers through all phases of the financing process. He focuses his practice on commercial lending and real estate transactions. His real estate expertise spans purchase and sale transactions, development, leasing, due diligence, drafting ad hoc agreements like easements, and access and maintenance agreements. In the Business Services area, Sebastian provides counsel around entity structuring and formation, general contracting and governance advisory.
Acting as an advocate and ally for his client, Sebastian keeps a keen eye on the ultimate goal and skillfully analyzes risks so they can make decisions in their best interest.
Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring: The Bankruptcy group provides a variety of services to financial institutions, representing a variety of client needs โ from raising capital to forming new community banks, converting institutions from national to state banks and more.
Business Service: Sebastian and the Business Services team support clients across various industries, from local businesses to global corporations, and are adept at navigating the myriad complexities of the current economic climate. Through their experience and strategic counsel, the team develops individualized solutions that best meet their clientsโ needs and legal objectives.
Real Estate: The Real Estate practice team provides legal assistance to a variety of clients in nearly all aspects of real estate planning.
