William E. Cartwright
Member , Evansville IN
Will joined Stoll Keenon Ogden in 2018 and is part of the firm’s Business Services group. He practices out of the firm’s office in Evansville but works with a cross-functional team that is spread across Indiana and Kentucky. Born and raised in Madisonville, Kentucky, Will has deep roots in the western part of the state.
Prior to joining SKO, Will was a valued contributor at another large regional law firm. Drawing on this experience, he adds to SKO’s legal horsepower by bringing diligence and real-world insights to client challenges. He has a keen ability to make all the pieces of a deal come together with ease.
Business Services: Will’s practice at SKO is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and lending, and real estate. He’s well-versed in the legal nuances of business transactions, but also examines his clients’ cases and needs through a broad societal lens. A student of history, Will closely follows shifts in the economy and politics and keeps these factors in mind when structuring success for clients.
Will sees every client interaction as an opportunity to be helpful and build a foundation for a lasting relationship. Whether working with lenders or borrowers, owners or managers, or other attorneys, Will applies the same commitment to collaborative service.
