Bill Lear Recognized for Community Advancement

Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that William Lear received special recognition at Commerce Lexington’s Annual Dinner held on Thursday, February 4 at the Lexington Convention Center. The President of Commerce Lexington, Bob Quick, honored Mr. Lear for his impact on the advancement of the community. He was commended for being a great believer in Commerce Lexington, and for always being candid and a great problem-solver. Mr. Lear has served as Chairman of all three organizations that merged to form Commerce Lexington: the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Lexington United and Lexington Partnership for Workforce Development.

“Mr. Lear has known no boundaries in what he has given to this organization in terms of time, energy, resources and expertise over the last 25 years,” said Mr. Quick.

Mr. Lear serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC. Throughout his career in real estate litigation and planning and zoning, he has served in many community leadership roles across the Commonwealth, including Trustee for the Keeneland Association, Vice Chair of Economic Development for Commerce Lexington Inc., Board Member for the Kentucky Chamber, Board Member for the Lexington Strides Ahead Foundation, Board of Managers for the Commonwealth Seed Capital Corporation, Vice Chair for the Greater Louisville Business Leaders for Education and is a former State Representative.
