Last Friday, SKO benefitted from national TV, business and horse racing media coverage of the 10th Stoll Keenon Ogden Phoenix Stakes. In a televised interview (password: SKO), Lexington Member Chapman Hopkins explained the start of the SKO – Keeneland partnership and its importance to both organizations.
After Friday’s race, Chapman (4th from left) and Lexington Member Sarah Reeves (5th from left) presented the trophy to the connections of the winning horse, Diamond Oops.
This Wednesday, the firm’s collaboration with the racecourse will benefit hundreds of workers in Keeneland’s stable area. Together our organizations’ “Nourish the Backstretch” effort will provide nutritious, made-from-scratch meals to the workers, courtesy of Nourish Lexington. During the pandemic, that charity’s volunteer restaurant and hospitality professionals have provided more than 150,000 meals to Lexington’s vulnerable citizens.
