Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is pleased to announce that attorney Mark Hurst was selected to participate in the 2011 Leadership Louisville class. Mr. Hurst joined the firm in 2006, and is a Member in the firm’s Louisville office.
Mr. Hurst is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation and Tort, Trial and Insurance Services Practice Groups. Involved in the community, Mr. Hurst serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for Zoom Group, a Metro United Way agency dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities. He also serves as the Mission Service Chair for the Crossing Generations Society for the Louisville American Red Cross and as the SKO representative for the Buildable Hours Program with Habitat for Humanity. In addition, Mr. Hurst volunteers with the Legal Aid Society’s “Ask a Lawyer” Program and is currently a member of Louisville’s Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
The Leadership Louisville Center is one of the region’s foremost leadership development and civic affairs organizations. The Center was created in 1979 to mobilize professionals to serve the community through exceptional skill development and unparalleled exposure to the people, places and ideas that make the Louisville community successful. Participants are selected through a competitive application process that recognizes experienced leaders from all fields so as to be representative of the community. Leadership Louisville is a nine-month program, and the 2011 participants are scheduled to begin in June.
